Adiwiyata : Eco-Enzyme Creation and Implementation

On December 11th, 2023, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernhill hosted a comprehensive event focused on Eco-Enzyme Creation and Implementation for secondary school students. The primary objective was to raise awareness and understanding of the crucial role eco-enzymes play in sustainable waste management. Simultaneously, the event aimed to ignite creative expression and innovation among all participants, aligning with our continuous efforts to foster a collaborative approach to environmental education and cultivate a genuine care for our immediate surroundings.

The event comprised the following segments:

1. Eco-Enzyme Workshop:

The event kicked off with an instructive workshop on eco-enzyme production. Engaging students from both middle and high school levels, this session was expertly guided by speakers from Santa Laurensia High School. They provided comprehensive insights into the process of manufacturing eco-enzymes. Practical, hands-on experience empowered students to create eco-enzymes from locally available organic resources. The workshop's primary aim was to equip participants with practical skills in formulating eco-friendly solutions.

• Poster and Presentation Competition:

Following the workshop, a stimulating poster and presentation competition unfolded. Participants were prompted to creatively articulate their understanding of eco-enzymes' role in waste management. The presentations showcased innovative ideas through visually compelling posters and articulate presentations. The competition's core objective was to inspire creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking innovation in support of sustainable initiatives.

• Announcement of Competition Winners:

The event culminated in the announcement of the winners of the poster and presentation competition. Rigorous evaluation criteria were applied to recognize exceptional works that demonstrated a deep understanding of the subject matter and presented ingenious solutions to environmental challenges. Awards were presented to honor and acknowledge the winners' dedication to fostering environmental awareness.

Witnessing the enthusiasm among participants in comprehending and implementing eco-enzymes as an eco-friendly solution was incredibly inspiring.
