The programme was conducted for four days, which, actually, was too short for an internship programme. However, with that limited time, the 11th graders were able to gain experience, knowledge, and new skills as well as connections with the professional-work world. They were interning in government tax offices, non-profit institutions such as Ubah Stigma, as well as in private companies with limited liability companies such as Bank Bukopin. Some students also interned at law firms.
There were 22 students of year 11 who took part in this year’s internship programme. With the theme “To Follow Your Mission and Passion”, this programme required students to make an internship report for their projects in Indonesian, English, and Mandarin Language. Students’ presentations were also assessed as part of the Information Technology subject project.
Ra Magia reported that she delivered her campaign theme about mental health to her friends and parents while Gina presented how she helped a Human Resource Department to select some new chef candidates for restaurants at The Maj Senayan. Darwin was explaining in detail about the business process of his family’s company that manufactures beds. Those were several presentations from the Harapan Bangsa Modernhill High School students on their internship programme in 2020.
