NATIONAL TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

SEKOLAH HARAPAN BANGSA – ELEMENTRY SCHOOL – MODERNLAND

In commemoration of National Teacher's Day. Thursday, November 25, 2021, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa , Elementary School Modernland held a virtual Teachers’ Day commemoration. The theme was Teacher, You Are a Light in Darkness. This theme is in accordance with the current role of teachers where they are always at the forefront of providing guidance to students wherever they are and under any conditions.

The involvement of dedicated teachers, especially during the pandemic, has given rise to moving stories, where teachers spent most of their time online to continue teaching students.

With that in mind today all students, teachers and staff celebrated Teacher's Day. In these activities the teachers acted as facilitators and moderators. The students were asked to become MCs and perform role-playing arts as the Little Teacher.

We divided these activities to make it easier to coordinate them as follows:

Opening Prayer      : From Class A

Closing Prayer         : From Class C

Foreword                 : From Class B

In Indonesian          : From Class A

In English                  : From Class B

In Chinese                 : From Class C

Role Play

From  Class A           : PE Teacher or Language Teacher

From Class B            : ICT Teacher or Language Teacher

From Class C            : Cultural Arts Teacher or Science Teacher

Class Performances from Students

Although this activity was held in a limited manner, all students were very enthusiastic and participated enthusiastically. The event ran smoothly, and when the students presented their videos about the work and devotion of teachers, the teachers were touched and many even shed tears. This event also motivates teachers to continue to love their students because teachers are the light for their students.
