Overthinking is thinking excessively about something (According to Halodoc).

Everyone must have experienced overthinking, including myself.
Maybe, the cause of overthinking is:
- Many tasks that aren’t finished,
- Being scolded by parents or teachers,
- Remembering moments in the past that can make us uncomfortable, etc.
Don't worry, I have the solutions. Here are the solutions:
- Avoid stress as stress is the main problem why people can overthink. So the way to avoid overthinking is to do something positive. Examples include watching funny videos or listening to fun music or doing hobbies.
- Tell our parents about our problems. Telling our parents about our problems is the best solution to make us stop overthinking because parents must have a solution for all of us. This is because parents have a duty to take care of their children.
- Pray. Praying is one way to solve overthinking too because praying together with the focus of our mind can make us calm. For example, in Buddhism it is called meditation.
- Try to think of one thing only and focus on it. This is one way to overcome overthinking, so don't think about it too much. Maybe the task is not finished and your parents are sick. So the way is to focus on one thing. If we are doing our task, then our mind goes to that task. Well, don't think about other things or anything else.
- Have self-motivation. Motivation is a wise word that can make a person happy. By having self-motivation, we can be energetic and not overthink anymore. An example of motivation is , “Wow, you are awesome. You will get the best score that you can achieve”. Having this positivity in our mind can help us overcome the obstacles in life.
