Issues regarding poverty had been circulating worldwide, yet maintain unresolved and without any solutions for these people in exile. In the battle against time, people of better welfare should be well aware of the concern to be able to assist and guide the process of relieving discomfort from the needful. Powerful solutions bared out include; educating children about poverty and extending media presentation. This essay will discuss two possible actions that people from affluent countries can focus on.
The first possible action is to plant a broad understanding of poverty in students’ education. Through awareness, pupils can supply ideas, comprehend global challenges, and moreover, contribute to real actions. Consequently, modern, never-thought-of solutions can be harvested from young minds. Therefore, including the subjects in the curriculum is an effective way to educate youngsters regarding current issues and grow critical thinking skills regarding problem-solving.
A second option would be to increase media coverage to give a proper exhibition of the real condition regarding the poor. The media can allow individuals with encounter of destitution the opportunity to display their sees, encounters and suppositions, which can help to inform and create a groundswell of public opinion supporting efforts to tackle poverty hence inclined to help through various deeds such as; donating, and campaigning. The media is powerful as it is influential, thus coverage is the perfect catalyst to overcome this problem.
To sum up, either approach would be a step in the right direction. In my view, media would cover a broader demographic while education will be most effective for children.
