Inauguration of the New Generation of Student Council

In the late morning of Wednesday, 24 August 2022. Sekolah Harapan Bangsa held an Inauguration for the newly elected student council during the scout session, from 11.30 AM to 12.10 PM, in front of the music room, with all senior high school students in attendance.

After a short briefing and rehearsal, the preparation for this event took around an hour long on the day before the inauguration. New student council members were called to rehearse with the previous student council members, right before lunchtime. The rehearsal was very quick and simple, but all the students got a feel of what the actual event was going to be.

Even with such a brief preparation time, this event was run well with no mistakes. The event started with the principal of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Senior high school entering the inauguration ceremony, the new members of the student council are then called to the front to recite an oath, and shortly after that, the event was closed by the head of the ceremony dismissing the attendees.

This event was brief and pleasant for all students. It was a very warm welcome to the new members of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa’s student council and a farewell ceremony for the previous members of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa’s student council.
