Today looks very busy for the 6th graders. They come to school wearing colorful costumes. There are red, green, blue and yellow. What events are there?
Apparently today, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, the 6th graders of Harapan Bangsa School will take part in the Mooncake celebration with Cambridge students. In addition to celebrating Mooncake, the students were also introduced to an international-based school, namely Cambridge School.
The event started at the Harapan Bangsa Modernland GYM at 8.00 WIB. There are two games held by PIC MoonCake Festival, namely Transferring Pimpong Games and Human Caterpillar Games. The students are grouped according to the color of the clothes. The red team competes against the green team and the blue team against the yellow team.
Wow! The event was very exciting, especially when each team tried to maintain cohesiveness in the competition, not infrequently the Pimppong ball fell many times but efforts were continued so that the team could bring victory to the finish line. Likewise, when competing in the Human Caterpillar Games, all students cheered and cheered on their respective teams. The Caterpillar containing 10 people continued to stumble and slowly try to reach the finish line.
Fun activity!
The 6th grade students who had just taken the MId Term test seemed enthusiastic and happy with this activity. The faces were full of laughter and joy.
After the games guided by Cambridge students were over, Cambridge Principal Ms Silvana thanked all 6th graders, elementary school teachers and PICs who had enlivened this year's mooncake event. It is hoped that this celebration will further open up insight into Chinese culture and also provide freshness to the body. At the end of the event, everyone got a drink and the typical food buns that are usually eaten during the Mooncake celebration.
