Book Week 2023

SHB Preschool-Modernland organizes numerous activities to gain and discover our children's interests, potential, and talents in order to prepare them to love learning. We conducted a Book Week programme that gave children and parents the opportunity to explore books and experience storytelling. It took place from Monday to Thursday, April 3-6, 2023. During that week, several parents went to their children's schools and narrated a story. The students were so excited and happy to see their aunts and uncles arrive to read them a story. They played a game and enthusiastically answered the questions. Both parents and students got the opportunity to spend time together at school while increasing their knowledge and experience through reading books and storytelling. On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, we held the “Pajamas Day & Assembly” programme with Ms. Lace and Chen Laoshi as the peak of our “Book Week”. We wore our favorite pajamas to school, sang, danced, and listened to “The Caterpillar Shoes.” On that day, the students cheerfully brought home the storybook to read at home. We had so much fun!
