Email tasks are a common type of writing task that students may encounter in school or in the workplace. They require students to write a formal/ informal email to a specific recipient, and they often have a specific purpose.
The following is an example of an email task:
Dear Yosia,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to tell you about my recent trip to Bali, which was one of the most memorable holidays I've ever had.
The weather in Bali was perfect – sunny and warm, with barely any clouds. We wore hats to avoid the sun getting in our eyes, and we spent a lot of time at the beach. There were lots of foreigners at the beaches, but we still found some quiet spots to relax.
Bali was my first time on an airplane, and it was an amazing experience. My parents thought it would be a good destination for me and my sister's first plane ride, and they were right. We had a great time exploring the island and learning about Balinese culture.
We bought a lot of souvenirs and local snacks, and we even tried some amazing Balinese food. The food was a little too spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it.
The people in Bali were very friendly and welcoming. They were always happy to share their culture with us, and they made us feel like we were part of the community.
I hope you'll be able to tell me more about your own experience in Bali when I get back. I'm looking forward to hearing about it.
See you soon!
Sincerely,
Paulin
