The Commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day

On Friday, August 18, 2023, the students of SMP and SMA Harapan Bangsa commemorated the 78th anniversary of Indonesia's independence with a variety of interesting activities. In the morning, the students participated in a flag ceremony alongside the entire student body of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernland on the field. This year's ceremony was led by Mr. Ignasius Sudjadi. He conveyed the importance of having the spirit of struggle as young individuals, to become the nation's successors who will lead Indonesia to prosperity and success.

Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, the students changed their attire and prepared to take part in various competitions organized by the Student Council (OSIS), such as sack races, tug-of-war, and others. The students enthusiastically participated in these competitions, and the winners received various prizes.
