Teacher’s Day Celebration

On November 24, 2023, students and teachers of Harapan Bangsa Junior High School and Senior High School celebrated National Teacher's Day. The activities began with students presenting performances for the teachers, including recitation of poems, dances, and singing. The poems recited were dedicated to the teachers of Harapan Bangsa Junior High School and Senior High School and were presented by Mrs. Indra T. Honoris, Deputy Chairman. Following that, the student council members awarded each teacher with a sash and rose as a token of appreciation. The event continued with the cutting of the ceremonial cone-shaped yellow rice (tumpeng) and the distribution of lunch to all students. The celebration concluded with teachers and students exchanging greetings. Despite its brief duration, the National Teacher's Day celebration at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa left a profound impression on the teachers. Happy National Teacher's Day to all teachers in Indonesia!
