Market Day-Charity In Action

“Market Day, themed ‘Together We Can, Together We Care,' encapsulates the true spirit of active charity. It represents a vibrant tapestry interwoven with threads of compassion, unity, and an unwavering belief that every small act of kindness contributes to a more caring world.

On December 6, 2023, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool hosted Market Day – Charity In Action. This event was a collaborative effort with Precious One, a foundation dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. We had the opportunity to learn sign language songs led by Kak Yuli, who is hearing impaired. Additionally, we set up a blind massage corner for the parents to experience.

Everyone, both parents and children, was thrilled to participate in our Market Day. The children alternated between acting as sellers and buyers, using toy money and bringing their own shopping bags. Everything displayed on the stalls sold quickly.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their support in our event, resulting in a successful fundraising achievement of Rp 21,512,888. All donations collected has delivered to Precious One, furthering their commendable cause of supporting individuals with disabilities.
