One more day till freedom

In the morning, just coming to school, students sigh, their dark circles having worsened, thinking that today will be just as tiring as yesterday. They strolled into the classroom with huge backpack-like burdens they were trying to eliminate. They are far more spirited than yesterday, the day before, and the day before yesterday. After the pledge, they felt lively just from standing up. But they are probably still going to slam their heads against the table. As lessons passed, pencils and pens were scratched against much paper, and teachers’ lectures continued. Then, after break and lunch, we talked to classmates and went back to listening to those lectures. We were too focused and busy to realize it was almost time to go home. Yet, despite groaning in the morning, which is probably just some morning thing, some of us want to admit that some lectures were pretty interesting. Well, the atmosphere was very refreshing to learn some thrilling facts. Hopefully it stays that way. As the bell rang, signaling that school had ended, some students stayed over and played games with each other, and some went home. As all went home, their faces were exhausted, relieved, and self-satisfaction.

Who knows what the students will do at home? Most might be online on social media, just scrolling through every reel, short, TikTok. Some might take a nice outing and feel relaxed. Will everyone just be rolled up in bed right after school to celebrate their freedom? Well, maybe, just maybe. On the first morning of the weekend, there was bright and clear sunlight, and students were still in their slumbers, trying to make up for the night before. They’re forced to wake up; eventually, some might just be immediately reaching out for their phone, and some might go down to eat breakfast with their eyes barely open. As the day continues, they’re minding their own business, maybe hanging out with buddies, doing hobbies, sports, etc. Who knows? What do you do on your weekends?
