A Heartwarming Farewell: Celebrating the Preschool Moving-Up Party 2024

As the school year comes to an end, the excitement of summer break blends with the bittersweet reality of farewells. The Moving-Up Party is a special tradition at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool-Modernland that marks this transition. This heartwarming event, held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, is a time for students, teachers, and parents to come together, share food, and celebrate the accomplishments of the previous school year.

The Moving-Up Party began with a warm welcome and assembly in the preschool hall, during which we danced and sang together for the last time. We also congratulated all teachers, staff, and kids on their hard work and dedication this academic year. Next, everyone returned to their classroom, which had been transformed into a vibrant celebration space complete with colourful decorations. The tables are arranged with a variety of delicious dishes contributed by each student. From homemade cookies to fresh fruits and savoury snacks like dim sum, noodles, and more, the food variety reflects the diverse and generous community that makes up SHB Preschool – Modernland, and they even get to take home some souvenirs. 

The event is more than just a farewell. It's a celebration of growth, community, and the joy of learning. It marks the end of one chapter and the exciting beginning of another, sending the children off with hearts full of memories and minds ready for the future.
