Kick Off PIN Polio

In the context of National Children's Day and the Kick Off of PIN Polio which falls on July 23 2024, the Tangerang City Department will hold a Kick Off of PIN Polio at Sekolah Harpan Bangsa primary  which will be attended by Dr Nurdin, S. Sos, M. Si as Acting Mayor of Tangerang . We were very happy to have the opportunity to carry out this activity at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa . All teachers and staff worked together to prepare the Polio PIN Kick Off and we also asked for support and permission from the students' parents so that their children could participate in the Polio Pin Immunization at school. All the children were gathered in the hall and sat neatly according to their respective classes. There were 10 children who were selected to be tested for polio by Mr. Nurdin, S. Sos, M. Si as Acting Mayor of Tangerang and his wife and staff from the health and education services. At 08.15 Mr. Dr. Nurdin, S.Sos, M.Si PJ mayor of Tangerang came to Sekolah Harapan Bangsa . All of us  and the children welcomed him with the music of the ondel – ondel song from the 5th grade children's piano ensemble and to start the event we sang the song Indonesia Raya by all the invited guests, the audience, teachers and students who were present to witness the PIN Polio Kick Off. Before the opening remarks from the Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Dr. Nurdin S. Sos, M. Si, we started with prayers and remarks from the headmaster of Harapan Bangsa School.  After finishing his speech, Mr. Dr. Nurdin, S. Sos, M.Si PJ mayor immediately gave polio by drip to 10 children who had been selected. After opening the Polio PIN Kick Off activity and giving 2 drops to 10 selected students, he left Harapan Bangsa School and then the Polio PIN was given by the Cikokol Community Health Center team for students from preschool and primary. All students who participated in PIN Polio were happy and said the medicine tasted sweet.
