August 31, 2024On August 22, 2024, the Cikokol Public Health Center held the BIAS (School Children’s Immunization Month) program for Measles-Rubella for Grade 1 and HPV for Grades 5 and 6 at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa . The Cikokol health center team arrived to administer the BIAS vaccines, starting with Grade 1 primary students. The Grade 1 students who received the Measles-Rubella immunization were very cooperative, and none of them cried. They were assisted by Ms. Emy, Ms. Tami, Ms. Wati, and Ms. Winda to help them stay calm.
After the Measles-Rubella immunization, the HPV vaccine was given to Grade 5 and 6 students, specifically for girls students. Not only were the Grade 1 students cooperative, but the Grade 5 and 6 girls who received the HPV vaccine were also very cooperative because they understand the importance of immunization for their health.
All the students who received the vaccines were observed for 24 hours, and none of them reported any complaints.
Everyone remained in good health and condition.
