Celebration of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence

On Monday, August 19, 2024, the students of Harapan Bangsa Primary School held various competitions to celebrate the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day.

Before the competitions began, all the students participated in a flag-raising ceremony. The flag-raising ceremony for the 79th Independence Day was held at the SHB 1 soccer field and the primary school hall.

The students from grades 4 to 6 attended the flag-raising ceremony at the soccer field along with the junior and senior high school students and all the staff of Harapan Bangsa School. The ceremony was led by Mr. Lucas, the Principal and Headmaster of the High School, with all the officers being junior and senior high school students. The primary students participated in the choir.

After the ceremony, a variety of traditional games followed, such as moving balls, carrying marbles, and word arranging.

All the students were winners, and they were very happy that day.
