Christmas is always a magical time of year, especially for little ones who see the season through eyes full of wonder and excitement. The joy of Christmas fills the air with twinkling lights and cheerful songs, bringing families and friends together. It is time for our preschoolers to learn about kindness, sharing, and the joy of giving.
We have a heartfelt Christmas service for Christian and Catholic students on Monday, December 16, 2024. The FICC Kids team also joined us in the celebration. The session began with worship, followed by various class performances. Our Playgroup Christian students danced to the song “This Little Light of Mine,” while the Catholic students danced to “Feliz Navidad.” Next, the Kindergarten A Christian children sang and danced “Jesus Saviour of the World,” while the Catholic students sang and danced “All I Want for Christmas is You.” The young Catholic and Christian students in Kindergarten B lit up the stage with their joyful singing and dancing. Their voices echoed throughout the preschool hall as they sang “Up on the Housetop” and “Nothing Is Impossible. It was a truly joyous occasion, with singing and dancing.
Following that, our FICC Kids guests introduced a delightful cast of puppet characters, each with their own personality and story. The interactive performance encouraged the children to join in, clapping and answering questions from the FICC Kids Team. Our students' giggles and smiles demonstrated how much they enjoyed the puppet show. After the closing prayer, each student received a Christmas package of paintings as a souvenir before going home.
The warmth of togetherness and the true spirit of Christmas lingered in everyone's hearts, reminding us all of the joy that comes from giving and celebrating as one school community.
