A Holiday from My Earphone’s Point of View

I never imagined my holiday would turn out this way. My name is Pink Haze, and I am a part of Citra's holiday. She takes me everywhere.

My first road trip was to Semarang. She often plays music from her beloved playlist, usually featuring artists like Beabadoobee, SZA, Daniel Caesar, and more! She uses me to enjoy her long road trip, along with the mix of emotions she has already poured into her playlist. It was an awesome trip—I got to meet Citra's grandma, cousins, aunt, and more! She carries me everywhere, keeping me in the pocket of her jeans.

Every night, she makes sure to charge me so I’m ready to use during the daytime. She never spends a day without me. I’m one of her best friends when it comes to road trips, and I feel very, very grateful because she seems happy with how I work—even though sometimes, my battery runs out faster than she expects.

Oh yeah, and guess what? I got to experience going to the beach! The wind was amazing, and although she didn’t use me much there, I stayed in her pocket the entire time. I watched as Citra and her big family enjoyed eating French fries, fresh fruits, and many other delicious foods. I felt a little sad that I couldn’t taste them myself, but that’s alright.

I’m really happy to be part of her holiday and proud to be her best friend during road trips. I’m excited for our next adventure and can’t wait to see how her music taste evolves as she grows older! From what I noticed, she played Normal Girl by SZA a lot during this unforgettable trip.
