Check Point

Cambridge Checkpoint tests assess learners in Sekolah Harapan Bangsa at the end of the primary program (Stage 6).  The tests will be marked by Cambridge International Education for English as a second language, mathematics, and science.

Students had some preparation before checkpoint exams, some of them were mock tests and coaching classes. In the mock test, students will do a simulation of the real checkpoint test. In coaching class, students reviewed past papers and recalled about particular topics. Mock tests and coaching classes encourage students to continue to actively study in order to prepare for the Checkpoint Test.

The primary checkpoint in Sekolah Harapan Bangsa held on April 22-25 2025, started with science, English, and math on the last day and was attended by 74 students on the 3rd floor of the Primary building. During the exam, the school environment on the 3rd floor was supervised by teachers to make the atmosphere more conducive, all the question cards were complete, all the supervisors did their jobs very well and the children brought all the exam equipment completely. Thankfully, all the students took the exam well, no one was sick or absent during the exam, the children were calm and all the conditions were very conducive. The children also informed the teachers that they were able to do the questions well, the preparations that had been made were very supportive and helped them in taking the exam, and they hoped to get good results in the checkpoint.
