Today at school, there were five planned activities. The first one took place on the basketball court, where my friends and I gathered. After the pledge and prayer, we started with Zumba, which is a form of exercise that feels like dancing. We did several songs—though to be honest, I wasn’t too fond of it.
Next, we moved to the badminton court for a seminar. However, I was told to go to the auditorium because a few others and I were called to practice for the graduation ceremony on Friday. But suddenly, we were informed of a change—other students would now be doing the pledge. When we returned, the seminar had already ended, so I went back to class and had recess.
After recess, we had a coaching clinic by Indoone. The boys went to the basketball court, and the girls went to the volleyball court. There were three main activities during the clinic. The first was a game where we had to run around and quickly form a group based on a number called out by the coach. The second game was a bit confusing—we had to form two parallel lines facing each other, and each line was assigned a colour. When a colour was called, the group with that colour had to run to the wall behind them, while the other group chased them.
The second part of the clinic was football practice, where we focused on shooting and passing. After that, there was a challenge. I didn’t join, but some of my friends did—only one of them won. Overall, the activities were fun, and my friends and I really enjoyed them.
Later, we had a class meeting with various inter-class competitions. I only watched the basketball game, where quite a few of my friends were playing. They won against Grade 7 and will face Grade 9 on Wednesday.
All in all, today was a great day filled with fun, friends, and exciting activities.
