Parents’ Appreciation Day 2025

From May 19 to May 21, 2025, our school, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool – Modernland, held a special Chinese Day activity called “Parents’ Appreciation Day”, which was based on the “Disciples' Rules” curriculum. The event aims to foster a strong bond between children and their parents, as well as love and respect, while also encouraging them to value care and gratitude. We hope to inspire children to carry these values with them as they grow, allowing them to continue to honour and support their parents throughout their lives.

Students from the Kiddy and Playgroup classes kicked off the first day of the activity by singing “I Love My Family”. Then, they bowed to their parents and combed their hair using their little hands. 

On the second and third days, Kindergarten A and Kindergarten B students took the stage, respectively. Kindergarten A students began by singing “Give Me a Hug”, and Kindergarten B students sang “Listen to Mom”. After their performances, they bowed, knelt, and served tea to their parents to demonstrate their filial piety. Several parents were so moved that they couldn't hold back their tears.

The event ended successfully. It left unforgettable memories for both the children and parents.
