Kids Olympics 2025: Little Champions, Big Dreams!

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, we celebrated Kids Olympics 2025 at SHB 1-Gymnasium. With the theme “Little Champions, Big Dreams!”, this special event encouraged our young students to be active, confident, and proud of their efforts, no matter how big or small.

The day began with a celebratory opening ceremony. Our little athletes participated in a Mini Athlete Parade, proudly waving Kids Olympics flags while dressed in sportswear. The cheers from their parents, teachers, and friends made them feel like true champions! One of the most touching moments was the “Flame of Dreams”. Ms. Maria, our beloved principal, lit the ceremonial torch alongside a select group of students. This beautiful moment reminded us that every child has big dreams that can be realised with love, support, and courage.

Following that, everyone got moving with super fun Zumba for kids! The music was upbeat, the moves were exciting, and it got everyone pumped up for the day. Then there were door prize giveaways, which brought even more smiles and surprises! We also welcomed friends from other schools for friendly games and teamwork. Thank you to our guest schools: Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool – Modernhill, Sunbright Preschool, Arrowstar Kindergarten, and Wonderkid Preschool.

The children then took part in exciting, age-appropriate games designed to improve teamwork, coordination, and confidence. The Kiddy Club participated in the Cone Quest Challenge Test and the Bean Bag Pick-Up Frenzy. The Playgroup strikes a balance between the Ball Challenge and the Ball Run Adventure. Meanwhile, the Kindergarten A students participated in a sack race and the ultimate obstacle race. The Kindergarten B students competed in the Target the Basket and Speed Stick Relay events. Each game was full of laughter, cheers, and joy. Whether they were running, balancing, or throwing, the kids all displayed incredible energy, effort, and sportsmanship. More importantly, they had a great time!

Many families enjoyed the Family Bazaar, which featured delicious food, fun accessories, handmade crafts, and cool toys. It was an ideal place for children and parents to shop, snack, and spend time together. At the end of the day, each child received a medal around their neck, a goody bag, and a cheerful heart. It was more than just a sporting event; it was a celebration of childhood, happiness, and dreams.
