SHB Psychological test 2025

A psychological test is a test that can be used to measure different individuals’ abilities and their ways of thinking, also known as IQ. This test is quite different from the typical psychological test. The junior high school students only have to take an IQ test and a test about which study style suits them the most. This study style is very important for junior high school students, since at a lower grade, they need to know which study method suits them best for their future studies. Senior high school students must take an IQ test and a test about their passions. This psychological test first started in SHB when the government announced it. The sponsor (Tes Bakat Indonesia) took 2 to 3 weeks to prepare for the psychological test. 

The Psychological Test was done on Wednesday, the 13^th of August 2025. It was supposed to be done only by the grades 7 and 10. However, due to new students in Harapan Bangsa, some students from grades 8, 9, and 11 also contributed to the test (2 students from grade 8, 1 from grade 9, and 3 from grade 11). 

 The grade 7s missed six study sessions to take the test. Part 1 of the test was done before recess at 08.00-10.00 a.m. It was then followed by a recess at 10.25-11.45 a.m. for part 2 of the test, and after part 2 and lunch, they continued their daily studies as usual for only two sessions. Grade 10’s schedule is very similar to grade 7’s. Due to a missed session, the grade 10s missed one more lesson, making 7 of their schedules missed, and only having to contribute in one of their lessons in their daily schedule. The only difference between grade 7 and grade 10 tests is that the tests taken by grade 10 students are longer and harder.
