The first forms of science can be traced to Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia during the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC. Science was followed by many other inventions and discoveries, like the light bulb and gravity. Science is important in our daily lives. We know that gravity is because of science. We know pretty much everything because of science. But what if science never existed?
First of all, what exactly is science? Science is the study of how things work. It is the process of discovering new things, conducting experiments, and understanding. So, if science never existed, there would be no technology. Without technology, there would be no light bulbs, televisions, smartphones, or air conditioners—basically nothing compared to what we have right now.
Take Aristotle, the first person to discover science. Technically, he set the basics for science, not found it. Benjamin Franklin is well known for discovering electricity because of his experiment demonstrating that lightning is a form of electricity. Without all that, we wouldn't have lights, and without lights, everything we do today would be way less efficient.
Also, many technological gear and machines are inside the hospital, like X-rays.
And who developed X-rays? Marie Curie did. She spent lots of time working on radioactivity, but because of that, she unfortunately lost her life. She sacrificed her life for us; without Marie Curie, X-rays wouldn't exist. Then what would happen? People would suffer from their medical conditions or even pass away. The world's population would go down, down, and even lower.
Benjamin Franklin is very well known for electricity because of his experiment demonstrating that lightning is a form of electricity. It also contributes by making new words like” positive” and “negative” charge, and developing a lightning rod to protect buildings from electrical surges.
Also, the hospital. Inside, there are many technological gears, such as X-rays. Who developed it? Marie Curie did. She spent a lot of time working on radioactivity. Because of being exposed to radioactive substances for a long time, she developed cancer and passed away.
Some scientists, like Marie Curie, sacrificed their own lives for our future. Without Marie Curie, X-rays and cancer treatments wouldn't have existed. And what will happen?
People would have cancer. And if they do, then more people would die. The world's population will go down and down.
Scientists help us understand a lot of stuff that makes our lives easier. They have discovered light, refrigerators, televisions, computers, robots, vehicles, and more.
Scientists manage to find out about it because of science. Scientists also research how to get our food cleaner. Without that, we might eat dirty food. So our lives would be much harder without science.
So, we should thank scientists because they helped us and made our lives easier. Thanks to scientists, there are vaccines, computers, and a lot of science.
