National Teachers’ Day Commemoration Flag Ceremony

On Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, the students of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Elementary School held the National Teachers’ Day Ceremony. Today’s ceremony was prepared by the ceremony team from Grade 5, the choir from Grade 6B, and I, Ayodhya from Grade 6C, served as the ceremony leader.

To the respected teachers and all my friends, on behalf of all of us, I would like to deliver a message on this National Teachers’ Day.

Every year, we commemorate Teachers’ Day as a form of appreciation to all teachers who have given the light of knowledge for our future. But more than just a commemoration, today reminds us of how meaningful a teacher is in our lives.

A teacher is someone who is there when we do not understand,

Someone who patiently guides us from not knowing to knowing,

From being unable to being able,

From doubt to confidence.

Without teachers, we would not be able to achieve anything.

They are the ones who teach us to read, write, count, behave well, and become children with good character. Teachers never stop guiding us, even when we are difficult to manage or not focused in learning. With sincerity, they give us their time, energy, and attention so that we can grow into better individuals.

On this occasion, let us remember that appreciating teachers should not only happen on Teachers’ Day. Every day, we can show respect through discipline, listening during lessons, completing tasks sincerely, and being polite.

Today, let us offer our gratitude to our teachers. It does not have to be a gift—a sincere smile, a respectful greeting, and a simple “thank you” already mean so much to them.

To all teachers at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Elementary School,

Thank you for being the light on our path,

Thank you for being our role models,

Thank you for never getting tired of thinking about our future.
