What is MPLS?

MPLS stands for Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah. This is an orientation program for new students to get to know their new school and friends. Sekolah Harapan Bangsa will hold an orientation program intended to increase the students’ teamwork and nationalism. The activities include ice-breakers and problem-solving activities as well as competitions. These will help them to be ready to face the challenges they will face later in class.

The planning and implementation of the program is organized by the student council, or commonly called OSIS (Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah). The principals and teachers in charge play an important part in guiding the student council to achieve the goals of the program already set. This program is also beneficial for the student council members as they can learn how to plan and organize events in a team.
