Mid-Autumn Festival Activities

On Friday September 29, 2023, SHB Primary School successfully held its annual Mid-Autumn Festival  Mooncake activities.

This event, which took place from 08.00 – 10.30, was very lively. The students enthusiastically wore traditional Chinese clothes (Cheongsam) which were combined with cute accessories worn by both female and male students.

This event was also enlivened by a fashion show aimed at children in grades 1 – 4. Not only that,  grades 5 – 6 students took part in a poster making competition, which definitely required a lot of creativity to win. Not only did teachers and students participate in the day’s activities , but this event was also attended by parents who were very enthusiastic about supporting and enlivening the program. There were even some parents who also wore costumes according to the Mid-Autumn theme.

Apart from the competitions, there was also a very beautiful performance from the choir students singing Chinese cultural songs and singing  Indonesia Raya together.

Today’s event closed with the announcement of the winners of the fashion show competition and poster competition.

Each class had at least two winners in each competition.

For those who did not become champions, they were still awarded certificates and stationery which is very useful to support their learning process. Mid Autumn Festival activities
