Kidzania Edutrip

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, a group of representative students from the junior and senior high school of Harapan Bangsa invited children from the Abigail Orphanage in Pamulang Barat to visit Kidzania at Pacific Place, South Jakarta. Kidzania is an interactive city designed for children aged 2 to 16, where they can explore various professions such as doctor, hotel employee, pharmacist, pilot, police officer, radio broadcaster, and many more.

During the visit, the children had the opportunity to engage in the professions of their choice and receive special Kidzania currency as payment. In addition to gaining knowledge about various professions, this activity also provided lessons to the children about money management.

A total of 43 children from the orphanage participated in this educational trip. After completing a series of activities at Kidzania, the orphanage children also received Christmas gifts in the form of snacks. This social service activity is part of the routine events organized by the junior and senior high school of Harapan Bangsa towards the end of the year.

May this activity not only provide an educational experience for the orphanage children but also enhance the sense of togetherness and happiness amid the Christmas atmosphere. Thanks to all parties who supported and participated in this activity, especially to the parents and students who contributed donations.
