Kindergarten B: Guest for Learning in collaboration with BPBD – Kota Tangerang “Exploring the World of Firefighters”

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, firefighters from BPBD-Kota Tangerang visited Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool—Modernland. 

      Kindergarten B students hands-on experience with how they work. Children from various classes were overjoyed to learn that they would be touring in a fire truck. When they arrived at the school, they greeted us with smiles and began the activities by introducing the various tools they use to extinguish fires. The children were given the opportunity to hold a fire hose and learn about the advanced equipment used in each rescue mission.

We were invited to take a closer look at the fire truck. Many of us had never ridden in a fire truck before, so this was a very special experience. The most exciting part was when the firefighters sprayed water from the large hose as if we were in the middle of a rainstorm! All the children cheered joyfully, feeling the refreshing water spray while learning about the importance of safety and fire prevention.

This activity was not only enjoyable, but it also taught students how to prevent fires and what to do if one does occur. We have all become more aware of the importance of safety and are being more cautious in our daily lives.
