Breakfasting Together at Sekolah Harapan Bangsa

Sekolah Harapan Bangsa recently held a heartwarming “Breakfasting Together” event during the holy month of Ramadan, bringing together Muslim students from elementary to high school. This annual tradition fostered unity, gratitude, and spiritual reflection among the school community.

The event kicked off with a vibrant series of performances from both teachers and students. Teachers showcased a traditional nasheed performance, setting a soulful and respectful tone. Not to be outdone, students from various grades presented musical performances, Quran recitations, and a short Islamic drama that highlighted the values of patience and kindness during Ramadan.

A highlight of the evening was a preaching session by a respected ustadz, who shared an inspiring message about the importance of fasting, generosity, and maintaining good character. His words resonated deeply with the students, reminding them of the true spirit of Ramadan.

Adding a touch of wonder to the night, a magician captivated the audience with a series of entertaining tricks that carried messages of honesty and faith, bringing smiles to both the young and the older students.

As the sun set, everyone joined in the iftar ritual, sharing dates and water before enjoying a delicious meal together. The sense of togetherness was strong, and laughter filled the air.

The night concluded with a congregational Taraweeh prayer, uniting students and teachers in spiritual devotion. This memorable evening not only strengthened the bonds within the school community but also deepened their collective appreciation for the blessings of Ramadan.
