SHB Students Orientation Day 2025: A Zootopia Adventure

On July 15, 2025, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa (SHB) held a vibrant and unforgettable Orientation Day for new Grade 7 and Grade 10 students, with the exciting theme “Zootopia” The event was designed to help students transition smoothly into junior and senior high school while encouraging unity, courage, and self-discovery.

The day began with a grand welcome in the decorated auditorium, which had been transformed into the colourful city of Zootopia. Teachers and student leaders, dressed as characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, brought energy and enthusiasm that instantly engaged the newcomers.

Students participated in fun ice-breaking games, a scavenger hunt across the campus, and teamwork challenges inspired by scenes from the movie. Each activity emphasised SHB’s core values: responsibility, diversity, and friendship.

Grade 7 students were introduced to new routines and expectations, while Grade 10 students explored leadership opportunities and academic planning for their final years. Both groups received encouraging words from the principal and senior mentors.

The Zootopia-themed orientation made students feel excited and welcome in their new learning environment. With laughter, teamwork, and animal spirit, SHB Orientation Day 2025 was a roaring success!
