Our little explorers had a wonderful day celebrating Indonesia! Our students had a wonderful day celebrating Indonesia! Through our “Nusantara Quest” programme, preschoolers enjoyed fun, hands-on activities that introduced them to the beauty of our culture in the simplest way.
The children used vibrant colours and their imaginations to create their own wayang puppets. They folded the batik-patterned paper. They also experimented with simple weaving using colourful paper strips, a traditional craft in Indonesia passed down through generations.
Happy hands, inquisitive minds, and cheerful smiles. While creating, they discovered that batik is a unique Indonesian art form and that wayang stories teach us about courage and kindness. Every fold, colour, and weave became a small way for them to reconnect with their home.
At the end of the day, every child went home with their own artwork and a proud heart. Because we believe that love for Indonesia begins with small, colourful things created with joy.
