World Hygiene Day

On May 6, 2024, the EMC team came to Sekolah Harapan Bangsa  to ask permission from the Principal to provide counseling (a short seminar) about Hand Hygiene to elementary school children, especially grade 1. This activity was held on Wednesday, May 8 2024 at Elementary school hall at 09.00.

                On Wednesday, May 8 2024, the EMC team came to Sekolah Harapan Bangsa  together with a pathological doctor and a team of nurses. The pathologist who came was Doctor Imee. They provided education about healthy living, how to wash hands properly, personal hygiene, dental hygiene, preventing diarrhea, stomachaches and nausea and vomiting, as well as learning to play the role of a doctor.They also introduced medical equipment, namely a thermometer to measure blood pressure. All the children were very happy with the arrival of the EMC team.  There were many questions from Doctor Imee  for children about how to wash their hands properly, at what times we should wash our hands. All of the children could answer. Those who answered received a prize. After that, Doctor Imee and the team invited all the teachers and children to do the steps to wash their hands properly while singing.

After that, Doctor Imee also gave a Certificate of Appreciation award to the SHB Principal and we took a photo together.
