Learning something new about the firefighting profession can contribute to knowledge that is not typically gained through classroom activities. Additionally, children gain the experience of playing and learning with firefighters. They also learn about the dangers of playing with fire and how to protect themselves in case of a fire. This allows students to reflect on their responsibilities and improve their life skills in daily activities.
Last Thursday, October 17th, 2024, the children gathered in the SHB 5 hall to pray, sing, and welcome the firefighters. They listened to an explanation of the equipment firefighters use when extinguishing fires, as well as a short lesson on what to do when a fire occurs. The children then had the opportunity to take turns riding the fire engine, supervised by the firefighters. Afterward, they played in the water together. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day's activities and went home happily.
