Character Building Excursion

On this day, Primary Cambridge SHB Modernland carried out a follow-up activity from the previous program, namely the Character Building Excursion. The activities took place in the gym and ran from 08.00 to 14.00.

Although the weather was not very supportive, as it had been raining since the morning, the enthusiasm of the Grade 5 and 6 students overcame the cold conditions.

The activities began with balloon games, followed by grouping the students and moving them to their respective stations.

In their groups, the students visited various activity stations, such as shape-guessing games, walking on coconut-shell stilts, playing spinning tops, and making cilok and chocolate-coated sweet potatoes. All students participated enthusiastically, especially during the cilok and chocolate sweet potato-making activities. “It tastes really good, Miss. It’s so fun,” said one of the students.

At the end of the event, the students created crafts using newspapers and performed as “queens and kings.” Their creativity was fully expressed, resulting in very impressive outcomes.

After the main activities were completed, there was still one hour remaining. During this time, students gave individual performances as group representatives. Some sang, while others danced.

The event concluded at 14.00 with a group photo session.
