Chinese New Year Celebration at Elementary School 2026

On February 26, 2026, Sekolah Dasar Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Modernland held a Chinese New Year celebration at the Auditorium of Sekolah Harapan Bangsa, Modernland – Tangerang. The event was divided into two sessions: Grade 1–3 and Grade 4–6.

The celebration began with a prayer and an opening speech by the Primary School Principal, Mrs. Emy Sumardja, who expressed her hope that the Chinese New Year would bring joy, good health, and a renewed spirit to everyone. In welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse, all students were encouraged to have strong determination, the courage to try new things, and perseverance in achieving their dreams.

Various performances, such as traditional dances, K-pop, ballet, wushu, taekwondo, as well as lion and dragon dances, enlivened the celebration.

The event became a meaningful moment of togetherness, fostering courage, creativity, and the spirit to become better individuals in this energetic new year.
