Chidren Fiesta 2019

Sekolah Harapan Bangsa Preschool Modernland held a fun-filled Children Fiesta event last Tuesday, April 16, 2019 with the theme, “Cerita Rakyat Nusantara”. This activity aims to encourage togetherness, nationalism, by introducing some Indonesian folktales, support talents of our students by singing and dancing to different traditional Indonesian songs.

The event was facilitated by Ms. Witri, opening prayer by Ms. Mamduhah and greetings from our preschool principal, Ms. Maria Angela. Each class showcased their talents and skills while wearing their unique Indonesian costumes. Kiddy Club, Playgroup and Kindergarten A students performed adorably on the stage while Kindergarten B students made a very impressive presentation about Papua and Maluku. Enthusiastic parents felt very proud watching their child/ren on the stage.   After that, our guest story teller, Kak Wahyu shared the story of “Malin Kundang”. He also gave away prizes for students who can answer his comprehension questions. Next, we announced the winners for the Classroom Soft Board Decoration and acknowledged the dynamic parents who eagerly participated in our Parents Storytelling activity.

We are sure that this activity left a memorable impression in the hearts of students, teachers and parents. We hope that through this amazing activity, all the preschool students gained new experiences to strengthen their love for the country.  See you in the next time on our Children Fiesta event.
