Flag Ceremony of Harapan Bangsa Junior-Senior High School Modernhill

On Wednesday, 30 March, 2022, Harapan Bangsa Junior-Senior High School Modernhill held a monthly flag ceremony for the umpteenth time virtually. The flag ceremony is an activity carried out to foster a sense of nationalism among students at SHB. For this ceremony, class 8A was in charge of carrying out the flag ceremony and Ibu Yenni was the ceremony officer.

Cooperation was the theme that Ms. Yenni conveyed in this flag ceremony. According to her, cooperation (gotong royong) is an activity that involves many people for the common good and is carried out without any strings attached. There were several things that were conveyed related to cooperation, namely: history, evidence, benefits and challenges. The benefits of cooperation include easing the workload and fostering an attitude of togetherness.

This ceremonial activity that is routinely carried out every month is expected to foster the spirit of nationalism. Moreover, the values ​​presented will also increase students' understanding that they are not only achieving academic scores.
