Flag Ceremony at Secondary Harapan Bangsa Modernhill

Wednesday, March 15, 2022, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School carried out routine flag ceremonies for the umpteenth time virtually. The flag ceremony is an activity carried out to foster a sense of nationalism among students at SHB. At this ceremony, class 8B was in charge of carrying out the flag ceremony and Ibu Agustiyan, as the coach.

Responsibility is the theme conveyed in this ceremony. According to Mrs. Agustiyan, responsibility is an attitude that a person does consciously to carry out a task/obligation without complaining and be done seriously. Students need to take responsibility, both in their lives as children at home and as students at school. The benefits of responsibility can be felt by students if they carry out their responsibilities according to their portion. There are several ways that students can do to be more responsible; complain less, don't make excuses, don't procrastinate, and be consistent. By doing some of the suggestions above, students are expected to have more awareness of responsibility and can be applied in everyday life.

The ceremonial activities that are routinely carried out every month are expected to foster the spirit of nationalism and the values ​​presented will also increase students' understanding that they are not only achieving academic scores.
