On September 21, 2022, Harapan Bangsa School held the Mooncake celebration in their respective classes with each class making their own video to represent the class. Each class had to work together to make a video. After that the class leader of each class submitted the video to the respective teacher. Before celebrating, the students had their usual learning first, then in the last two sessions the students celebrated the Mooncake by watching videos from all classes of the junior-high school level. This celebration was carried out in the respective classes accompanied by their homeroom teachers. Because there are still covid-19 protocols to be followed, it couldn’t be celebrated together. All students watched the videos together for ± 1 hour 30 minutes. The meaning of the Mooncake celebration is to honor Goddess Chang’ e. The benefits of Mooncake activities for Harapan Bangsa School are to preserve Chinese culture and instill moral values.
