Preparation for the Youth Pledge celebration begins on October 24, 2022. Students are divided into groups of 5-6 people per group. Each group that has been formed would take part in a competition to make a big book story for children. There are 34 groups that have been formed, the working period starts from October 24-28 2022. There are also requirements to meet in making a story book: including using A3-sized paper, the content consists of 10 pages, it uses short sentences that are easy for children to understand, and the story is supported by interesting pictures. The story is written in three languages, such as Indonesian, English, and Mandarin. The theme of the story is children's stories from local, foreign countries or their own ideas (original stories). There must be a positive value derived from the story. At the end of the assessment, the first- and second-place winning groups from the junior high school level and the first- and second-place winning groups from the high school level will be selected. On Friday, October 28, 2022, which is the main day of activity, students and teachers wear the dress code “perjuangan.” Some tied the flag on the arm, and some tied it around the head. This reminds the struggle of Indonesian youth as the nation's hope to advance the country. In the morning the activities began with a flag ceremony.

After the flag ceremony, the next activity was a vocal group competition. Participants in the vocal group competition come from every class. Vocal group activities are held on the basketball court. The songs that are contested are national songs, as follows:
Grade 7A : Berkibarlah Benderaku
Grade 7B : Pada Pahlawan
Grade 8 : Indonesia Jaya
Grade 9A : Kebyar – Kebyar
Grade 9B : Tanah Air
Grade 10 : Bagimu Negeri
Grade 11 : Indonesia Pusaka
Grade 12 : Bangun Pemudi Pemuda
The students, when performing, also have creative ideas to add poetry readings, opening solo singing with a melodious voice, and some use an acoustic guitar.




The last competition is to decorate the bulletin board in each class. The bulletin board content must have this theme “Inquiring, Knowledgeable and Caring”. Bulletin boards also must contain elements of at least three languages, including Indonesian, Mandarin, and English.




At the end of the event, an announcement was made for the winners of each competition as well as the closing of the event.
And that’s all of the Youth Pledge activities that ended on that day.
