As expressed by Teacher Aini Andrea Hirata: “The best teacher is a teacher who tirelessly seek ways to make his students understand.”
For this reason, Sekolah Harapan Bangsa was holding a Teacher's Day on November 25, 2022. The activities carried out are assembly, students testimony and writing the letters, poems, and greeting card for the teachers.
The activity started at 09.30 when the principal, Ms. Theodora Rudiyanto, S.Psi, M.Psi delivered the welcoming speech. Some students gave testimonies about the teachers and watched the choir performance singing “Teachers Hymn Song.”
After the assembly, the activities continued with making letters and poems for the teachers. The activities are adjusted according to the grade level.
Grades 1 and 2: Write a letter addressed to the teacher.
Grades 3 and 4: Composing Poetry
Grades 5 and 6: making Greeting Cards
Activities are carried out online in each class. Activities run smoothly. All activities are as expected. Hopefully this activity will instill students' respect for teachers.
