A summary by Diajeng (Grade 9)
For numerous of years, Finland, Denmark, and Norway have been ranked to be the happiest countries in the world, based on the World Happiness Report. This report is based on a survey done of the citizens of 150 countries, with 1000 people from each country. Reasons why a country is happier than another is because of their freedom and good quality life: free education and healthcare. However, the nation’s wealth has no relations to a country’s happiness. Some say that there might be a certain gene that is linked with good mood. And lastly, it is also believed that good family relationships and a mixture of ethnic backgrounds affects the level of happiness in a country.
