English Day

On February 16th, 2023, SMP and SMA Harapan Bangsa students celebrated their annual English Day activity. This year the students made a traditional Indonesian food stall. Through a lucky draw, each class randomly received one of the following regions: Pontianak, Bali, Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Medan, Bangka, Palembang, Padang, DIY Yogyakarta, Aceh, and Manado. At the stall, students sold heavy and light food and drinks from the assigned region. They had to present the food and drink at their food stall. The information included in their presentation was the origin and the ingredients of the food/drink. After that, the students started selling and buying. The total profit from all classes was approximately IDR 5,000,000 and would be donated to Putera Asih Orphanage, Tangerang to buy food and school supplies for the orphans.
