Primary SHB Modernhill held a Faith Day event on Tuesday 28 March 2023. This activity is routinely held every year as one of the embodiments of Harapan Bangsa School's vision and mission namely Knowledge, Faith, and Character. This activity is very important to deepen the spirituality of students and grow their faith in living up to their respective beliefs. With Faith Day activities, students can attend ceremonies/worship according to their beliefs.

The students are divided into groups according to their religion and perform rituals together accompanied by the teacher. For example, students who are accompanied by teachers who are Hindus carry out Tirta Yatra activities by going to Cinere Temple by carrying out activities to make canang sari prayer facilities, carrying out joint prayers led by the teacher to ask for safety, health, and peace for the universe, giving Punia Funds, introduction to the buildings in the temple, coloring pictures of holy places and closing with a group photo session.

Buddhist students paid a visit to the Ratana Graha Temple-Pondok Cabe. The activity began with an introduction to the kuti room, dhamma sala, library, room for meditation retreats, and listening to Jataka stories found in reliefs at the monastery. The activity was continued by conducting Pujabakti led by Father Pandita Gunawan, reciting precepts and Dhammadesana requests delivered by Monk Saddhaviro about the Life History of Buddha Gotama briefly and doing paramita funds and giving lunch funds to monks and closing with prayers by monks and group photos.

Christians and Catholics from grades 2-6 are joined to carry out worship activities together, palm leaf decorating activities, Mini Outbound and closed with a closing prayer. Meanwhile, PG-1 students carry out activities with joy, which begins with a greeting of praise “Sunrise” followed by praise for Jesus Crucified, watching the Superbook film “The King washes his feet”, palm leaf activity, and closing with a prayer together. Students who are religious Muslims were filled with the activities of the Dhuha Sunah Prayer and joint Tausiyah led by Umi Kiki, Activities about Islam, and closed with a closing prayer.

The event went smoothly and was fun because every individual in this school was given the freedom to carry out their religious obligations according to their respective beliefs. It is hoped that the Faith Day activities that have been carried out by the students will form good character in their family, school, and community environment and get used to the diversity of religions and cultivate tolerance in everyday life.
