Halalbihalal SMP – SMA Harapan Bangsa Modernhill

“Welcoming a brighter and tawadhu future for SHB and Indonesia” is the theme of the Halalbihalal at Harapan Bangsa Middle – High School, Modernhill.

This celebration was led by Pascal and Keisha of grade 7. The event was held on Friday, 5 May 2023, and began with an opening prayer by Althan of grade 8 followed by reading Surah Ali ‘Imran verses 133 – 134 by Maureen and Darell of grade 9. Miss Sisilia Juni A, the Principal of SMP Harapan Bangsa, delivered a speech to officially start the event. The performances from grades 9, 11, and 12 amused the audiences as grade 9 performed the song “Rindu Muhammadku”, grade 11 “Rahmatun Lil'Alameen” and grade 12 “Peace be upon You”.

For this Halalbihalal, the school invited Ustadz H. Ahmad Liyandi, S. Ag who gave a preached about forgiveness. During this event, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill School also raised for the charity fund which would be distributed to the Depok Orphans and Dhuafa Foundation (Indonesian Human Lanterns) in the amount of Rp. 19.575.000.

The Halalbihalal event was closed with greetings involving all students and teachers.
