I don’t like Salad!

There was a princess who is called as the Little Princess. She has a pet, a dog, and a doll. Their names are Ruff and Tim. She liked to play around with them.

One day, the Little Princess walked around the field. She was hungry and she wanted to have lunch. She ran into the kitchen, sat on a chair and waited for her meal served by the chef. She imagined that she would have a yummy food for her lunch. However, the chef gave her some salad that had green vegetables and tomatoes on it. She was surprised and did not want to eat it because she didn’t like it. The chef then offered and took some mayonnaise to be added as the sauce of the salad, but the Little Princess still didn’t want to eat it. She even took and hid all the vegetables and the tomatoes away from the plate. She put them under her dress. When the chef came back, brought and gave a jar of mayonnaise, the plate had been empty.

The Little Princess then said to him to give her some pudding, her yummy food.  She quickly ran out of the kitchen with the pudding on her hand. She didn’t realize that all vegetables and tomatoes she kept under her dress dropped down while she ran. It caused some troubles to her maid and her parents. She ate her pudding happily under a tree on the yard.

A few minutes later, the Little Princess was called and asked by her parents. They asked what she has been doing to her lunch and told her that the salad was good food. Why? Because all the ingredients were planted and grown by the gardener in their own garden. The chef took and used the ingredients from the garden. She should not waste the good food.

Her parents wanted to give her a lesson by asking the Little Princess to ask and find out how to plant the tomatoes from their gardener. The Little Princess then went to see the gardener in their garden. He taught her how to plant and grow the tomatoes. He taught her step by step, starting from planting the seed, watering it, looking after it until it grows bigger and bigger. The Little Princess was very happy when it was growing day by day until it was producing some fruits. Firstly, she didn’t let the chef to take the fruits off to make it for the salad. Her mother gave her an advice that they should not waste good fruits because the chef needed it to make good food.

At the end, the little Princess learnt that it takes hard work and a long time to grow a plant and we must look after it diligently. When it is the time for the plant producing some fruits, the fruits must be taken and be used for making good food so it would not be wasted.
