EARTHQUAKE SIMULATION AT SD HARAPAN BANGSA MODERNHILL

Indonesia's topography shows the condition of Indonesia's territory which has many steep mountainous contours. Topographical conditions like this are a factor in causing disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions to tsunamis. Therefore, Harapan Bangsa Modernhill Elementary School conducts a simulation in dealing with earthquake disasters so that students are alert, know and understand what to do when a real earthquake occurs.

On the day of the earthquake simulation, teachers and staff carried out their respective activities and students attended lessons in their class. When the siren is sounded, all ongoing activities must be stopped. The teacher calmly instructed all students in the class to line up orderly and checked the number of students that were present. Then immediately took them out of the classroom in a calm and orderly manner to a safe evacuation site.

After arriving at the evacuation site, the teacher gave directions to students to stay in line according to their respective classes and listen to the information and directions given. Then the assigned teacher provides more complete and detailed information regarding the appropriate steps during the earthquake conditions so that the situation is safe and under control. After the information was delivered, all students were brought back to their respective classes accompanied by the teacher who taught in their class.
