My experience at the SHB Cup event was thoroughly enjoyable as I actively contributed to the basketball segment. Specifically, I served as a linesgirl, responsible for recording the points scored by each player and documenting any violations committed by team members. This role allowed me to observe and analyze different playing styles, as well as feel the emotions and intensity on the court. Some players exhibited rough playing habits, while others demonstrated remarkable skill. The enthusiastic supporters behind me added to the atmosphere, with some bringing drums and water gallons. It was amusing when, in the excitement, someone would call “medic” for a minor incident, just for fun.
Through this experience, I learned how to record and calculate points in a basketball game, adding to my overall knowledge at school. The event also featured a bazaar offering a variety of delicious foods, from Subway to Starbucks and other culinary delights. The closing ceremony of our SHB Cup was particularly memorable as we invited the talented artist GHEA INDRAWARI, a singer renowned for her exceptional voice and famous song, “Sorrowful Soul.”
In conclusion, the SHB Cup was a highly enjoyable event, and I look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s SHB Cup!
